Using Interactive Infographics to Promote Problem Based Learning for the Development of Key Transversal Skills
- Published in Projects
The European Commission has emphasised the need to develop key transversal skills in all education sectors to sustain the high-value knowledge economy.
Rethinking Education calls on the Member States to provide all citizens with learning opportunities to develop key transversal skills like digital literacy, entrepreneurship, critical, and creative thinking, leadership, innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and social impact, highlighting the importance of learning by doing within VET.
Problem-based learning is a learner-centred pedagogy in which learners acquire knowledge about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem found in trigger material. Interactive Infographics are a new type of learning environment that is attractive and engaging for learners and can be used in formal and non-formal settings.
Innovade LI, in collaboration with partners from 7 EU countries, participate in the project Skill-Pics, under the Erasmus+ KA2 programme of the European Commission.
The project aims to contribute to the continuous professional development of VET teachers, trainers, and mentors in education and business. The purpose of this project is to provide all citizens with learning opportunities intended for developing key transversal skills like digital literacy, entrepreneurship, critical and creative thinking, leadership, innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, and social impact
