The SWPBS project in the Cyprus Education Summit 2021

INNOVADE LI collaborated with CARDET and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, to organize the Cyprus Education Summit 2021 on the 3rd of December in the University of Nicosia. The Cyprus Education Summit is an annual event that seeks to foster an in-depth exploration and analysis of key themes, trends, and opportunities across all aspects of education and training. The Summit serves as a space to foster mutual learning and synergy building among local and international practitioners, researchers, and policymakers facilitating knowledge sharing, policymaking, and improving education across the region.

Experts, researchers and highly acclaimed professionals from the field took part in the conference with insightful presentations and speeches. The summit welcomed among others the Director-General for Education (MoECSY), Youth, Sport and Culture, the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy (DMRID), the Head of Policy Advice and EU Programming Unit, European Training Foundation (ETF), and the Director of the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (CPI). The presentations and sessions this year focused on the Digital Transformation, Digital Skills, and STEAM Educational Approach and its application to school education and the classroom.

The SWPBS project staff was there to inform invitees about the mission and successes of the project, so far. Teachers, researchers, and practitioners were delighted to hear how the SWPBS project improves the overall quality of our educational system through promoting a positive inclusive school culture!
