RoboAquaria Piloting Enters Second Phase with Hands-On Robotics Workshops!

The RoboAquaria project has entered a new phase, with the second round of piloting workshops at Agios Nikolaos and Trachoni A’ Primary Schools! On Thursday, 3rd of April 2025, students dove into the world of robotics, exploring how technology can be a powerful tool for communication and environmental awareness.

Building on the foundations set during the first phase of the project, students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, designing, constructing, and programming their very own robots. These dynamic workshops are part of RoboAquaria’s mission to combine Marine Education with STEAM and Green Skills, using digital tools and robotics to inspire the next generation of environmentally conscious innovators.

The second phase of piloting reflects the project’s ongoing success and growing impact in the classroom, empowering both educators and students to explore climate and environmental issues in creative and interactive ways.

RoboAquaria project focuses on the protection of marine environments by integrating Educational Robotics into the classroom and building teachers’ competences to use them. The project aims to develop a Methodological Framework for the Pilots, Guidelines for the Teachers, and validation, a RoboAquaria Toolkits and Lesson Topics and an E-Learning Toolkit and (OERs) Lesson Plans.
